Debra Benson - Owner/Elder Care Manager |
 | Debra Benson has worked with the elderly and their families for over 15 years. She holds a Bachelors degree in Health Service Administration & Long Term Care from New York State University at Fredonia. She has: supervised home health aides, been the Executive Director of a Memory Care Assisted Living Community, become Power of Attorney for financially compromised seniors. She has also served as a New York State Ombudsman and a caregivers support group facilitator for the Alzheimer’s Association. On a personal note, Debra has been a caregiver for family members with Alzheimer’s Disease and other diseases. In a personal yet professional perspective, she can empathize with the plight of the caregiver. |
